Introduction of collets

In the field of machining and precision manufacturing, the collet plays an indispensable role as a key clamping device. With its unique design and excellent performance, it provides accurate, stable and reliable workpiece clamping solutions for various machining operations.
The structure of the collet is designed to be compact and rational. Usually made of elastic material, they are cylindrical in shape with a special pattern or teeth on the inner wall. This structure enables them to generate uniform contraction forces in the radial direction and thus to hold workpieces of different diameters tightly. Whether it is a slender metal bar, a precision tool, or a variety of small irregularly shaped parts, the collet can be adaptively adjusted according to its dimensions to ensure that the workpiece always remains firmly in position during machining and does not shift, wobble or rotate.
The choice of material is crucial, mostly using high-strength alloy steel or high-quality spring steel and so on. These materials not only have good elasticity and wear resistance, but also can withstand high-frequency clamping stress in a long time, not easy to deform or damage. After a fine heat treatment process, the hardness, toughness and fatigue strength of the barrel clamp is further optimized, effectively extending its service life and reducing the cost of use.
